Bettenhausen Lights Up Blue And Yellow In Support Of Ukraine

The car dealership unveiled the new lights in early March to support Ukrainian citizens as they face attacks from Russian soldiers.

The move comes after other south suburban towns have introduced blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian flag, into their decorations to show support.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Blue and yellow lights were hung up at Tinley Park's Bettenhausen Alfa Romeo last month in support of Ukrainian citizens fighting against Russian attacks, a spokesperson said.

The lights are hanging at the car dealership at 17514 South Oak Park Avenue and will be there until further notice. Blue and yellow are the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

The move of support echoes that of other towns where blue and yellow lights, flags and even a clock tower were decorated in support of the Ukraine.
