Carjacking At Gunpoint Outside Tinley Park Hotel: PD
The incident happened Sunday at a Holiday Inn near 183rd and Harlem Avenue, Tinley Park police said.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park police are investigating a carjacking at gunpoint late Sunday morning in the parking lot of a hotel near 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue.
Police were called at 11:20 a.m. to Holiday Inn, 18300 block of North Creek Drive, for a report of a rented, white Alfa Romeo taken at gunpoint by two suspects, police said. One was described as a male weighing 200 pounds, wearing a mask and all black clothing. The victims were both males attempting to drive from the hotel to the airport, police said. No one was injured.
A chase vehicle described as a black Chevy Tahoe was also spotted. The vehicles were last seen headed southbound on Harlem Avenue.

Detectives are on scene and police are canvassing the area for video footage of the incident.
Police said there was no further threat to the public.
