Cars Damaged During Street Fight
Two cars were damaged during a street fight in the 17200 block of Oak Park Avenue, according to a report. The fight broke up when police arrived at about 2:59 a.m.
One man told police he was tackled in the street after getting into an argument with another man inside a downtown bar. The vehicles were damaged during that fight, the report stated. The tackled man refused to sign a complaint, and police instead issued a local ordinance ticket for disorderly conduct to the man who allegedly made the tackle, the report continued.

Traffic Stop On Way To Second Bar
Samer Hanna Akkawi, 31, of the 1800 block of Hunt Club Drive in Mokena, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and failing to notify the secretary of state of an address change, according to a report.
Police reported seeing a black Nissan sedan swerving in its lane and crossing the road lines at about 2:02 a.m., near the intersection of Oak Park Avenue and 175th Street. Police stopped the car and noticed that the driver, Akkawi, had bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, the report stated. He told police that he had three drinks at one bar and was headed to another, according to the report. He refused to take field sobriety tests and was arrested.
Akkawi is due on June 18 in Bridgeview court.
DUI Charge For Justice Man
Anthony R. Koehler, 26, of the 8100 block of West 84th Place in Justice, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08, making an improper turn, driving in the wrong lane, driving without a license and driving without insurance, according to a report.
Police reported seeing a white vehicle make a wide right turn at about 2:01 a.m., from 173rd Place onto Harlem Avenue, crossing into the oncoming lane before correcting. An officer who stopped the car noticed the driver spoke with slurred speech and had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, the report stated. The driver told police he was tired and had “about five beers and three mixed” drinks, according to the report.
Koehler was arrested after performing field sobriety tests, the report stated. He then took a breath test while in police custody, the report continued.
