Cheer, Dance Groups Among Winners In Tinley Park Irish Parade

Bulldogs Cheer and LaCrosse and TNT Dance came in 1st place in their respective categories in the parade. Check out all the winners.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A lacrosse and cheerleading program and a plant nursery were among the winners in this year's Tinley Park Irish Parade. More than 80 groups and businesses participated in the March 18 event, and there were five categories for them to be judged in.

This year's judges were Yoli Cox of Breathe Fitness, Toni Scott-Terry of Allure Laser Med and Matthew Clair of Matt’s Barber Shop. Announcers during the parade were Tinley Park High School Principal Theresa Nolan, Andrew High School social worker Brian Gascoin and NBC 5 Chicago meteorologist Andy Avalos.

Walking Groups

  • First Place: V.F.W. Post 2791
  • Second Place: Tinley Park Bobcats
  • Third Place: Tinley Park Bulldogs Softball and Baseball

Professional Floats

  • First Place: Bulldogs Cheer and LaCrosse
  • Second Place: Durbin’s Pizza
  • Third Place: Tinley Park Park District

Amateur Floats

  • First Place: Ted’s Greenhouse
  • Second Place: Gaelic Park
  • Third Place: Jimmy Johns

Performance Groups

  • First Place: TNT Dance
  • Second Place: Bulldogs Cheer
  • Third Place: Blackbird Academy of Irish Dance

Vehicle Entries

  • First Place: Bettenhausen Automotive
  • Second Place: The Lucky Hot Dog
