Chicago Heights Park District Hosts 'Take a Break and Shake'
The Chicago Heights Park District is hosting an event for children to step away from their screens and get moving.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The Chicago Heights Park District is hosting "Take a Break and Shake," a new event every Saturday to help get kids moving after a long week of virtual learning and gaming, according to the park district.
The park district shared on Facebook that the event will present an opportunity for children to have more physical and social interactions. There will be personal trainers for kids to follow along with. The instructors are Ms. Radha and Mr. Luis, both certified trainers, according to the park district.
The events are Saturdays from 10-11 a.m. for ages 8-12 and 11-12 p.m. for ages 13-17. Social distancing will be practiced and masks are required upon entry to the park district, according to the post.
