Community Consolidated District 146 Back To School Guide 2019/20
School may seem far off, but District 146 students start in 3 weeks. Here's what you need to know to get the kiddies off on the right foot.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Summer is in full swing, but guess what? School is just around the corner. Community Consolidated School District 146's classes begin August 22 this year. Here' s what you need to know to get your kids off to school on the right foot.
Registration
- Returning students can be enrolled with a Snapcode.
- New students have a slightly different process:
- Complete the online New Student Forms
- Bring all required documents to the District Administration Office Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Begin the online process here.

New and now
- All of elementary schools have new additions that will be finished before school starts. This includes additional classrooms, cafeterias at three schools, new playground space, and new art and music space. The construction was brought on by the need for additional space with the new full day kindergarten program.
- Fulton and Memorial have new principals this year.
- Fulton and Kruse have a new shared assistant principal.
- The district hired a new director of curriculumand a new director of student services.
