Cops Find Pot Leaves, Slurs and Swears Spray-Painted in Tinley Driveways

Police are investigating several reports of graffiti that were called in between Saturday and Sunday.

Pot leaves, racial slurs and swears were among the graffiti cops found spray-painted in 10 local driveways over the weekend.

said the vandalism showed up on four properties in the 17900 block of Sippel Drive, five in the 18100 block of Nielsen Drive and one in the 8600 block of Henke Drive. In each instance—except a separate report of spray paint in the intersection of Nielsen and Sippel—the graffiti was found in the homes' driveways.

All drawings were done using black paint, according to the report. They included circles and ovals forming face shapes, the number 69, a heart, marijuana leaves, the phrase "E + A sophomores homecoming," racial slurs and several swears, police said.
