Crisis Center's Trivia Night To Benefit Survivors Of Domestic Violence
The Crisis Center for South Suburbia will host its first-ever trivia night fundraiser on Thursday, Sept. 19.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Can you recall facts about people, places, and things easily? Would your friends and family call you a fount of knowledge? Do you enjoy having fun while supporting a good cause? If so, you are ready to showcase your brain power on September 19 when the Crisis Center for South Suburbia hosts its first ever trivia night to benefit survivors of domestic violence.
Grab your friends and family and head to the Bremen VFW Post 2791 in Tinley Park for a night of trivia, pizza from Ed & Joes Pizzeria, prizes and raffles, and a cash bar. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Teams should start reserving their tables now. There are even sponsorship opportunities available with event perks, the organization said in a release.
The Crisis Center for South Suburbia is a local non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence. The Crisis Center addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence through community education, public policy, and social change initiatives. Services are free, confidential, and available to all victims of domestic violence regardless of gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

"When you attend events like our trivia night, you are pledging your support to end domestic violence in our communities." said Crisis Center’s Director of Development, Marita Kay. "Revenue from events comprises over 20 percent of our programmatic operating budget each year.” she added. "This is an opportunity to have fun within our community while raising awareness of the serious issues related to domestic violence."
Tickets are $25 per person, with teams of up to eight people. You can register for the event at CCSSTrivianight.givesmart.com.
