District 146, Jewel-Osco To Hold Vaccination Event For Students
The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be available for local children ages 5-11-years-old at Central Middle School on Saturday.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Jewel-Osco is teaming up with District 146 officials to host a vaccination event for local families Saturday, Nov. 13.
The vaccine clinic will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Central Middle School. Children ages 5-11-years-old will be able to attend and receive the first dose of a Pfizer vaccine.
Officials told Patch the event does not mean vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for students attending school in the district, but rather an opportunity for children to receive the vaccine in a familiar place.
