Man Leaves A Note Looking For Tennis Partners, Community Responds
A man named Ziggy wrote a note and placed it on the fence at Veterans Park in hope of finding an opponent for the next day.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Tennis and pickle players wanted! A Tinley Park neighbor is looking to have a few new players on the court.
Ashlyn Tyrakowski posted a photo in a Facebook group of a note that read, "Hello all, my name is Ziggy, I'm looking for partner to play tennis (I'm beginner), or pickleball, (not beginner) after 6:00 p.m." The note also included a phone number where Ziggy could be reached.

Tyrakowski captioned the post with, "this is posted at the tennis courts at veterans park. i was on a walk with my husband and daughter and came across this. it broke my heart! can we please find some one to play tennis or pickle ball with ziggy after 6pm!? DM me for his number. please, serious inquires only!!"

The post generated over 170 likes and 88 comments of people showing their interest in meeting Ziggy.
Priscilla Kooyenga wrote, "Ziggy is a great guy who is a 24 hour caregiver for a senior resident of our community. He is 60 years old and originally from Lithuania. I will be joining him for a tennis match tomorrow!"
