TINLEY PARK, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Rob Dominguez who nominated Kelly Dominguez of Tinley Park. The pair is married and Rob said Kelly is the epitome of what the world needs at this time.

Name: Kelly Dominguez
State: IL
Hometown: Tinley Park
Hero's job: Health Care
Relationship to nominee: Wife
Reason for recognition: My wife works as a float nurse at Christ Hospital. She has been
working in and out of Covid-19 floors since the pandemic began. She comes home from
her 12-hour shifts both physically and mentally exhausted and is still able to be supermom
to our two girls
One thing to know: My wife is the epitome of what the world needs in this time. She gives
all she has to make others lives easier and more comfortable with no expectations of
receiving recognition. She lives to serve others. Never have I met a more caring soul.

Thank you for all you do, Kelly!
