Exploring What’s Next: VJA Students Network with Colleges and Career Experts
Lunchtime fair connects 400+ students with colleges, universities, and career professionals.

For the third consecutive year, Victor J. Andrew High School hosted its lunchtime Post-Secondary Career Fair, giving students the chance to explore colleges, universities, and career pathways from across the country. More than 400 students participated during lunch, engaging with 18 representatives from higher education and various professions.
College and Career Counselor Lakeisha Kiser says, “This event plays a vital role in helping students explore future pathways and gives access to opportunities that are not always readily available. The energy and excitement from the students today solidified the importance of continuing this for years to come.”
To encourage participation, Kiser introduced a Post-Secondary Passport. Students who meet with at least seven representatives can submit their completed passport to receive a free popcorn or a College & Career-themed keepsake.
