TINLEY PARK, IL — Bags—or cornhole, whatever you call it—fans are invited to put their toss to the test in downtown Tinley Park on Sunday, May 19.
The Tinley Chamber's Bag Crawl returns for its ninth year, offering players a chance to visit downtown Tinley spots along Oak Park Avenue, throwing bags at each stop to earn points toward cash prizes and other awards.
The bag crawl event originated in 2011, when cornhole surged in popularity, said Tinley Chamber Executive Director Tom McNulty.

"We were looking for a fun fundraising event and the idea to host a bar crawl in Downtown Tinley was suggested," McNulty said. "A couple of conversations later and we were planning the very first Tinley Chamber Bag Crawl, where participants stroll along historic Oak Park Avenue accumulating a progressive score as they compete at various locations for cash prizes and other awards."

The event has grown each year, with 120 people participating in 2021.
