Hijab-Wearing Woman Photographed Grade School Or Maybe Just Took A Selfie: Cops
A recess monitor reported the woman to the police.

A 38-year-old woman working as a recess monitor at Helen Keller Elementary School alerted the law to the alleged picture taker on April 15.
The monitor reportedly told police “she observed a gray Chrysler Town & Country van stop on Everdon Drive facing south.”
The monitor watched the driver — “a female who was wearing a red hijab” — “take pictures of either the school or possibly of herself … as children were playing outside during recess,” police said.
The monitor “could not rule out that the driver was taking a selfie,” according to a police report.
The woman then drove away, heading west on 163rd Street. Officers were unable to track the mystery woman down.
The monitor reportedly told police “there were numerous Muslim students who were at recess when the woman was taking pictures but she does not know if the woman was a relative of any of them.”
