Juvenile Shot At McCarthy Park In Tinley Park: Officials

TINLEY PARK, IL — A juvenile was shot Saturday night at McCarthy Park in Tinley Park, officials said.

A call of shots fired came in at 7:45 p.m. at the park, 16801 S. 80th Ave., Village Manager Pat Carr said.

One gunshot victim found at the scene was taken to a nearby hospital, Carr said. Their injuries were non-life-threatening.

A suspect has been identified, and the scene is secure, police said late Saturday night. Both parties in the incident are juveniles.
