Know Before You Go: Tinley's Oktoberfest Ready To Tap The Keg
Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce's Oktoberfest will be held Friday, Sept. 15–Sunday, Sept. 17.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Lace up your dirndls, throw on your lederhosen and grab a stein—the annual Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce Oktoberfest will be up and running this weekend.
The three-day fest hosted by the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce kicks off Friday, Sept. 15 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 17. This year's event will be held at the 80th Avenue Metra Train Station South lot, which is a change from last year's location.
The fest will feature authentic German food, beer, traditional and modern live music, ceremonial keg tapping and more.

Entrance is $5 per adult. Children age 17 and under accompanied by an adult are free. Admission to the carnival is free
WHAT TO EXPECT
Tighter security protocols have been put in place to discourage any disruption to our event.

- Bag checks: security will check bags at all entrances
Youth Supervision Policy and the Code will be in effect. The rules will be posted for attendees at entrances.
- Attendees age 17 and younger are required to be accompanied by and remain with a parent or adult age 21 or older at all times.
- Unsupervised youths age 17 and younger will not be admitted without a parent or supervising adult age 21 or older.
Prohibited Items
Weapons, firearms or explosives (including those possessing a Concealed Carry License); no
coolers, large bags, scooters, bicycles, roller skates/blades and animals (with the exception of
service animals). If you need to bring a bag, use clear plastic bags or wristlets to get you
through the bag checks quickly.
ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE
A carnival will be offered Friday from 5 to 10:30 p.m., Saturday from 1 to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday 1 to 6 p.m. Unlimited ride passes for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, 1 to 5 p.m. are $30 per person. Evening unlimited ride passes for Friday and Saturday evenings, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., are $35 per person.

- 5 to 7 p.m.: The Schnitzels
- 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.: Reckless
SATURDAY
- 1 to 3 p.m.: Frank K
- 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.: Clean Slate
- 7 to 10:30 p.m.: Bratwurst Brothers
SUNDAY
- 1 to 1:30 p.m.: Tinley Park High School Band
- 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Paul and the Bavarians
- 4 to 6 p.m.: The Walk-ins
