Deadline Extended For Tinley's 2026 Benches On The Avenue Submissions

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Village of Tinley Park has extended the deadline for 2026 Benches on the Avenue submissions.

Artists have until Tuesday, Dec. 30 to send their bench ideas for next year's program, which will be themed "Party in the USA" in celebration of America's 250th birthday.

The Village is looking for unique, kid- and family-friendly, imaginative and three-dimensional designs that will take visitors on an adventure celebrating the United States. Portrayals should be vibrant, colorful and include some degree of three-dimensional art.

Anyone with an imagination and a bit of artistic creativity can be part of Benches on the Avenue. All you have to do is fill out the form online, and send it and your designs for review. Prospective artists are required to submit two designs to avoid duplications. The Village will notify selected artists by Jan. 7.
