Man Accused of Shoving Bouncer at Durbin's

The cops rolled up to a downtown Tinley Park bar just in time to see a man getting rough with employees, they said.

Police said a 24-year-old Joliet man was arrested in downtown early Saturday after he shoved a security guard outside a bar.

Sean M. Hannon, 24, of the 8200 block of Clairidge Drive in Joliet, faces a battery charge. officers said they found Hannon outside Durbin's, 17265 Oak Park Ave., arguing with two employees.

The bar's manager and bouncer denied Hannon entry to the bar around 11 p.m. Friday "due to his level of intoxication," according to the police report. He became belligerent and left the property only to return a little more than an hour later around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.

After Hannon began yelling, the bouncer tried escorting Hannon off the property, the report said.

That's about when the cops rolled up—just in time to see Hannon shove the security guard and swing at him with a closed fist, police said. He didn't successfully sock the Durbin's employee, who was unscathed in the incident.
