Man Reportedly Fights ATM Machine at Toby Keith Concert

Police arrested a man at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park over the weekend after the concertgoer got into a strange scuffle.

A 22-year-old Beecher man is accused of criminal damage to property after police said he got into a fight over the weekend with an ATM machine.

Thomas H. Hagemaster, of the 12500 block of East 11700 North Road in Beecher, was arrested around 8:45 p.m. Saturday at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, 19100 S. Ridgeland Ave. in . A security staff member at the theater said that during the Toby Keith concert, he watched Hagemaster swipe his card in the ATM machine and then become irate.

"The suspect began to kick the machine and the (security guard) approached him to stop his actions," the report said. "The suspect pulled away from the (guard) and again attacked the machine, pulled it off the wood base and knocked it on the ground."

Hagemaster was taken to the security office, where he said he lost his temper, according to the report. He told that he would pay for any repairs that are needed.

Police said Hagemaster damaged the front panel of the machine and that the top locking compartment was broken. The front keypad lock was dangling by its wires, according to the report.
