Man to Dunkin Donuts Employees: 'I Can Make Your Life a Living Hell'

Tinley Park police searched for a man with no avail last week who reportedly entered a local Dunkin Donuts store in a mad fury.

Officers were called to Dunkin Donuts last week after an irate man entered the store twice and emptied garbage bags all over the floor.

The man is a regular customer there, employees said, noting that they believe he lives nearby because "he always comes on foot." He first entered the store at 7935 171st St. in around 7:15 a.m. June 28 and began yelling at staff that Dunkin Donuts garbage was on his lawn. The employees weren't sure what the man was screaming about, as they had no idea how garbage would end up in his yard, the police report said.

He then looked at one and yelled, "I can make your life a living hell," the report said, citing security footage.

The man returned to the Donut shop around 4:20 p.m. the same day with a trash bag in hand. He dropped the bag inside the store, scattered its contents, and a staff member asked him to pick it up. The man then left. Police said there was garbage littered outside on the sidewalk when they pulled up.
