Mr. Riko Loko Dessert Shop Opens In Tinley Park
The new business in the Cornerstone Centre plaza promises 'a real fiesta of flavors' with its ice cream, churros and Mexican desserts.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A sweet addition to Tinley Park will finally open its doors in the village this weekend. Mr. Riko Loko is a new dessert bar in the Cornerstone Centre shopping plaza, and it will have its first day of business Friday.
"The day is finally here and we are very excited to announce Mr. Riko Loko will be officially opening the doors at 3pm [Friday, Aug. 31]!!!" the business stated on its Facebook page Thursday. "We thank you for the support and hope to see you all there!!!"
When customers visit the shop at 7150 W. 183rd St., near 350 Brewing Company, they can to find ice cream, fresh fruit, crepes, churros and a variety of Mexican desserts. For the past few weeks, Mr. Riko Loko has been tantalizing visitors to its Facebook page with photos and videos of freezers stocked with what the shop describes as "a real fiesta of flavors."

"Trying all the recipes before we open … taking the Mexican popsicles to the next level, real fruits," an Aug. 2 video update on the shop's Facebook page stated.
