No Snow Day? Share Your On-The-Job Selfies With Tinley Park Patch
Did you have to work despite the bad weather? Then snap and send us a #NoSnowDaySelfie.

TINLEY PARK, IL — For students across the south suburbs, Friday's winter snowstorm meant one thing: a coveted snow day. But one student's cherished snow day is another person's aggravating and potentially treacherous work day as many around the area still needed to report to their jobs despite the severe weather.
Or because of it in the cases of snow plow drivers and other workers tasked with essential duties that don't stop over a few precious snowflakes falling from the sky.
That's why Patch wants to recognize those people who made it into work Friday. It doesn't matter if you're an on-duty police officer on patrol, a customer service rep answering phones for your company's help desk or a cashier working the register at a neighborhood convenience store. If you're working today, Patch wants to know.

Or email the photo with "#NoSnowDaySelfie Tinley Park Patch" in the subject line to editor Joe Vince at joe.vince@patch.com. (If your job involves driving, please pull over before snapping your selfie.)
By the end of the day, we hope we'll be able to put together a gallery that shows you weren't the only person who didn't have a snow day Friday.
And here's the first #NoSnowDaySelfie to start it off:

Let's hope that was the first of many.
