North Lot Of 80th Avenue Metra Station Will Be Closed This Winter
Officials said the north lot will not be plowed or salted while it snows in order to cut down on costs.
TINLEY PARK, IL — The village announced Friday the northern parking lot at the 80th Avenue Metra station will be closed during the winter months.
In order to control costs, village officials said snow plowing and salting services will not take place in the lot starting Nov. 29 and continuing while it snows.
All lots at the Oak Park Avenue train station will be plowed as usual through winter. Officials said the other parking lots at the 80th Avenue Metra will be open for commuters.
