Painting Party To Help Fill Tinley Park Rocks Kindness Garden

TINLEY PARK, IL — Community members are invited to a painting party for the Tinley Park Rocks Kindness Garden. In an effort to fill the garden with more uplifting rocks, a painting party will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 at D12 Cafe, 17258 Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park.

The Tinley Park Rocks Kindness Garden is part of the Kindness Rocks Project, which began with a stone on a Cape Cod Beach and has spread worldwide. Community members are encouraged to take a rock when needed, share one with someone in need, or leave one, as each rock is painted and contains a message of encouragement, hope and other positive words.
