Park Ace Hardware In Orland Hills To Close
The hardware store will be closing its doors after 23 years in business. Nearby locations include Tinley Park and Frankfort.

ORLAND HILLS, IL — Another local business has announced it is closing its doors. Park Ace Hardware in Orland Hills has announced it is shutting down after 23 years in business. Liquidation sales will begin this week.
"Thank you everyone for the years of support in Orland Hills," the business announced on Facebook. "We are unable to renew the lease and after 23 years have to say goodbye. We hope you are all willing to still shop our Tinley Park and/or Frankfort location."
The Orland Hills hardware store, located at 9545 W. 167th St., will be closed through Tuesday to prepare for liquidation sales. On Wednesday, a presale will take place that is open to the general public.

The entire store will be liquidated, and everything will be 13 percent off or more. The hardware store sells everything from brands like Craftsman, Toro and Weber, to bolts and screws that may be hard to find elsewhere.
Regular customers took to social media upset by the news.

"You were always my go-to store. All of your employees were so, so helpful. I’m going to miss you," one wrote. "The end of an era," another said.
Other Ace locations can be found in Tinley Park, 16725 Oak Park Ave., and in Frankfort, 21150 S. La Grange Road.
