22-Year Old Pedestrian Dies In Tinley Crash

TINLEY PARK, IL —A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle at 10 p.m. Wednesday night. The incident occurred at 80th Avenue and Timber Drive in Tinley Park.

The 22-year-old man was taken to Christ Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the Village of Tinley Park said in a news release. The driver of the vehicle remained at the location and cooperated with police.

The incident is currently being investigated by The Tinley Park Police Department's Traffic Investigation Unit. At this time, there are no charges.
