Plush Horse Back to Business after Friday Night Scare
A car drove through the front window of the ice cream shop along 171st Street and shut down the store early on Friday. No one was hurt.
Apparently the ice cream at Plush Horse in Tinley Park is so good, the store needs to put in a drive-through.
The staff and customers at the ice cream joint, located at 7903 W. 171st St., received a bit of a scare Friday night when a car smashed into the store's front glass window.
No one was injured, according to Plush Horse staff. Both the Tinley Park Police and Fire departments were called to the scene.

The driver's information wasn't immediately available. An employee at Plush Horse said the driver was a teenager who apparently thought the car was in a different gear when she tried to drive away.
Staff closed the store early on Friday but had opened it back up at noon on Saturday to resume normal business hours.
