Woman Says Tech Support Tampered With her Computer

A woman told Wednesday that someone had recently deleted personal files on her computer without her permission. She had taken it two days before to a local computer company that performed a system restore on her harddrive. Police explained to the woman that some files may not be available after such  a procedure. She decided not to sign complaints.

Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested Edgar Meza, 22, of the 4400 block of West 183rd Street in Country Club Hills, around 2:20 a.m. near the intersection of 177th Street and Oak Park Avenue in . He reportedly failed field sobriety tests and blew a .177 on the Breathalyzer. He was charged with speeding, improper lane use, driving under the influence and driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08.
