Active Shooter Drill, Police Presence At Grissom Middle School
Police and fire presence at the school is just a drill, police said Wednesday.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Police and fire presence at Grissom Middle School in Tinley Park is rapid deployment as part of an active shooter drill, Tinley Park police said Wednesday.
The Tinley Park police and fire departments are conducting the annual training at the school, 17000 80th Ave., Wednesday throughout the day.
"The training will be completed in several different schools this summer and give our first responders hands-on experience," police said.
