Repairs To I-80 Bridge On Oak Park Avenue Postponed: Village
The closure of Oak Park Avenue on Friday, Jan. 26 was to be for repairs to be made to the I-80 bridge, Village officials said Thursday.
TINLEY PARK, IL — The Illinois Department of Transportation has postponed repairs to the I-80 bridge on Oak Park Avenue due to inclement weather, the Village said Friday.
A portion of Oak Park Avenue was set to be closed Friday, as the Illinois Department of Transportation makes repairs to the I-80 bridge. When the work is in progress, Oak Park Avenue will be closed from West Point Drive to the entrance of CarMax near Prosperi. The road will be shut down in both directions. There will be no through traffic, Village officials said Thursday.
The work will be rescheduled, with an update to come from Village officials.
