Possible Attempted Armed Robbery Investigated By Tinley Police

TINLEY PARK, IL — Police are investigating an aggravated assualt and possible attempted armed robbery Tuesday night. The incident happened near the Target store at Brookside Marketplace at 191st Street and Harlem Avenue.

According to Tinley Park police, the victim was confronted by a male suspect, who displayed a handgun. The suspect then fled the scene in a red sedan, but it was not known in what direction he was traveling.
