Prairie View Eagles Soar to a Perfect Season

Congratulations to the Prairie View boys' softball team, who capped off a perfect 14-0 season by winning first place in the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) tournament.

Coached by Mr. David Zielezinski, the championship roster includes Simon Derus, Tommy Fazekas, Declan Hanes, Connor Harris, Charlie Hoekstra, Ari Les, Greg Les, AJ Martino, Jack Martino, Tyler McCarthy, Allen Mech, Nolan Reilly, Charles Wasik-Stephensen, Zach Westin, and Brady Wolfe.

Special recognition goes to Simon Derus, who was named All-Conference, and to Charlie Hoekstra, who earned MVP honors.

“I couldn’t be prouder of these boys,” said Coach Zielezinski. “They played with heart, stayed focused, and supported each other all season long. A perfect season and a SWIC championship are a true reflection of their hard work and dedication.”
