Star Wars Outdoor Screening And Character Event Coming To Tinley
Hangout with Star Wars characters and watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens on July 22 here in Tinley Park.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Star Wars fans will flock to Tinley Park next week, as the Tinley Park Park District is hosting a movie in the park with live characters to meet and greet.
The event will run from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on July 22. It is free to attend, and those who show up will get to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens and meet Star Wars costumed characters.
Before the movie begins, kids and families will be able to participate in "out of this world" activities and games, according to the park district.

The event is sponsored by Republic Bank, and will take place at the Band Shell at Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, located at 8125 W. 171st St., Tinley Park.
