Somebody Egged My House

Police were called to a home in the 6500 block of W. 163^rd Place, after a resident reported their house was egged.

At the home, police spoke with the victim, who said that he heard something hit his home and when he looked he noted several eggs had struck his front window and siding.

Police spoke with neighbors, who advised they did not see anything suspicious. The victim said that he only wanted the incident documented.

Great, My Wallet Is Gone

Police were called to the Holiday Inn, 18501 Convention Center Driver, after a guest reported his wallet missing.

Police spoke with the guest, who said he was at Bananas Bar and Grill, which is attached to the hotel, having drinks before he returned to his room to change and go to dinner. The victim said that when he arrived at Palermos Pizzeria in Oak Lawn, he realized his wallet was gone.

He told officers he went back to the hotel and asked if anyone had turned in a wallet at the front desk. Hotel staff told the victim no wallets had been turned in.

Police spoke with hotel staff who said that nobody but the victim had been in his room that day and that a report was filed with the hotel for the missing wallet.

THURSDAY, JAN. 17

Three Cars Burglarized outside Dance Studio

Police were called to a business in the 18400 block of Thompson court, after a report of three burglaries to vehicles in the business's parking lot.

Police spoke to the three victims, who said that a purse and makeup bag were taken from one car, a wallet containing $600 and credit cards was taken from the second vehicle and a purse containing a cell phone and wallet, containing $100 cash, credit cards and vehicle registration, was taken from the third car.

Owners of the business were unable to provide video footage from outside the business. All three vehicles were parked near the entrance of the business at the time of the burglaries.
