Three-Vehicle Crash Stops Traffic On I-57 Friday: ISP
The accident happened on northbound I-57, just north of Flossmoor Road Friday morning.
COOK COUNTY, IL — A three-vehicle crash on I-57 Northbound Friday morning stopped traffic for nearly two hours, Illinois State Police said.
Police responded around 10:30 a.m. to a crash involving a truck-tractor flatbed-trailer combo, a pickup truck, and an SUV, in the northbound lanes just north of Flossmoor Road, according to ISP.
Three people were taken to area hospitals with not life-threatening injuries. Both northbound lanes and the left southbound lane were closed until approximately 12 p.m.
