Tinley 7th Grader 'Sweetest Person', Leads By Example: Star Student

TINLEY PARK, IL — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

She is my daughter

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

I believe Anabelle should be recognized because she is sweet, generous, hardworking, and a role model for other kids her age. She excels in school and consistently makes honor roll. All of her teachers appreciate how hard she works, and that she strives to help her fellow classmates. She is also very involved in the Builder's Club which is a community service organization that helps students develop leadership and build character. Anabelle is also on the Winter Guard for CMS, and puts a lot of time and hard work into that. Inside and outside of school she always tries to be helpful, and she's always good for a laugh!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Anabelle is the sweetest person, and such a hard worker!
