Tinley Begins Work On New Comprehensive Plan, April 1 Open House Set

Residents are invited to attend the kick-off, open house meeting on Monday, April 1.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park officials in the early stages of developing a new comprehensive plan are seeking the public's input.

Residents are asked to attend an April 1 kick-off meeting to join the conversation about future development of the community.

"The Village is in the beginning stages of envisioning Tinley Park’s next 10 years through the creation of the Tinley In-Tune Comprehensive Plan, a guide that will help shape the future development of the community," officials announced. "Serving as a key reference for Village leadership, the guide will inform decision-making, ensuring that development aligns with the Tinley Park community's vision and goals."

The comprehensive plan will not serve as code or ordinance, officials said, but instead "a roadmap for sustainable and balanced growth," officials said.

"To make this plan great, the Village wants to hear from a range of people, from residents and community organizations to business owners, industries and more." officials said.
