Tinley Fire Department Holds Free Classes During Fire Prevention
The Tinley Park Fire Department is holding free classes for fire prevention month, this October.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Tinley Park Fire Department will be offering free events during October, to learn life saving techniques to use in times of crisis.
The fire department said they will be hosting a series of these free events, in celebration of Fire Prevention Month this October. These events will include a hands-only CPR class on Oct. 3, a presentation on smoke and carbon monoxide alarms on Oct. 10, a class on portable fire extinguishers on Oct. 17, a Babysitting Basics lesson on Oct. 24 and a fire engine/truck display and fire sprinkler demonstration on Oct. 31, according to the fire department.

These events will be held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. all October. Class sizes are limited and reservations are required to participate.
