TINLEY PARK, IL, — The Village of Tinley Park will hold a special board of trustees meeting Wednesday that covers business from the March meeting officials canceled because trustees could not form a quorum.

The meeting are typically held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. This one is scheduled as a "special meeting" and will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Last month, officials canceled the meeting after two trustees and the clerk appeared at the village hall for the meeting. Mayor Jacob Vandenberg said several trustees were out sick or, as in trustee John Curran's case, on a long-planned vacation. However, those close to board members also said some were avoiding an unsavory political scenethat was expected to be played out during the public comments section.
