Tinley Park Band Wins SuperState Competition
The Tinley Park High School band has been named one of the top symphonic bands in the state.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Tinley Park High School band has been named one of the top symphonic bands in the state. Crowned the 2019 Symphonic Band Superstate Champions, the band was among six selected from across Illinois for the honor.
The musicians played "Block M," a march by Jerry Bilik, and "Othello" by Alfred Reed. They are led by director Vincent Aiello.
As part of the honor, the band will return to the festival next year as featured performers.
