TINLEY PARK, IL — A Tinley Park High School alum has won a fellowship from a global public relations industry. Tyler Bearden, 20, of Tinley Park is one of nine Roosevelt University students to win the award from the Golin public relations agency, which celebratesdiversity and inclusion of people from diverse backgrounds according to a news release.

Golin, a global PR agency headquartered in Chicago, started the prestigious fellowship program with Roosevelt in 2019 as a way to carry on agency founder and late PR industry pioneer Al Golin’s legacy of diversity and inclusion.

The fellowship will introduce Bearden and eight other Roosevelt student fellows from diverse backgrounds to the latest practices and trends in the industry and provide them with opportunities for networking, internships and mentoring with major companies and senior PR executives.
