Tinley Park Home Uninhabitable After Fire: Officials
The fire happened at a home in the 7800 block of 167th Street Friday morning.
TINLEY PARK, IL — No one was home Friday morning when fire broke out in a Tinley Park residence, fire officials said.
Tinley Park firefighters were called at 9:38 a.m. to a home in the 7800 block of 167th Street, said Fire Chief Steve Klotz. On arrival, the first and second floors of the home were on fire, Klotz added.
Crews launched "an aggressive, quick attack," bringing the fire under control within 15 minutes, he said.

No residents or pets were inside the home at the time of the fire.
The fire appeared to have started on the first floor; the cause is still under investigation.
