Tinley Park To Host Annual Memorial Day Ceremony: What To Know
The event will take place Monday, May 30, at the Rea Veterans Plaza near the 80th Avenue train station, officials announced.
TINLEY PARK, IL — The village is hosting its annual Memorial Day ceremony this coming Monday, May 30, officials said.
The celebration will take place at the General Patrick E. Rea Veterans Plaza which is right across from the 80th Avenue train station at 18001 South 80th Avenue.
Village officials said attendees can expect patriotic music, speeches and a wreath-laying ceremony ending with a gun salute. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m.

Those who cannot make it to the ceremony will be able to watch the event on the village's Facebook page. The Tinley Park Veterans Commission is co-hosting the festivities.
