Tinley Public Library Updates Feature Refreshed Space For Teens, Room For Nursing Mothers & Sensory Needs
The Tinley Park Public Library recently completed renovations to make the space more welcoming and inclusive, officials said.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park Public Library officials recently unveiled the facility's latest renovation project, designed to create welcoming and inclusive spaces for visitors of all ages.
The project focused on revitalizing the Youth & Teen Services Department with enhancements that include updated youth and teen program rooms, a dual-purpose room for nursing mothers and children with sensory needs, a large, interactive play area, a Lite-Brite wall, a 180-gallon saltwater tank with new fish friends, a cozy study space for teens, and remodeled restrooms on both floors.

The refreshed spaces have already been embraced by the community and library staff, officials said. Visitors have commented on how open and inviting the department feels, how much their children love the new play area, and how worth the wait the renovation was. The library invites the community to stop by to enjoy the newly renovated spaces this winter.
