Tinley Park Hosts Live Music Events This Summer
Where to find the best live music in Tinley Park this summer, from the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre to local bars.
Tinley Park, IL — From the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre to the park district, Tinley Park has a vast lineup of live music planned for the remainder of the summer. Concert series like Music in the Plaza and Thursdays in the Park both recur through August, featuring an array of genres from country to classic rock.
“We take pride in our music brand and enjoy providing free live music to the people of Tinley Park and visitors,” Village Special Events Coordinator Vicki Sanchez said. “As our official brand, music is also important to Tinley Park in an economical sense, as those coming to town for their music fix also tend to shop in our stores and dine in our restaurants.”
Music in the Plaza is held every other Saturday at Zabrocki Plaza on Oak Park Ave. Upcoming themes include Boy Band Night and Rockstar Rodeo. “Music in the Plaza concerts are free, family-friendly, and in the heart of our downtown. While we offer budget friendly onsite food and beverage vendors, many visitors take advantage of the nearby restaurants, some listening from balconies and patios,” Sanchez said.

Establishments like Tribes Ale House and Side Street Tavern also host recurring music theme nights that the village encourages residents to attend. “Music is unique in that it can bring people of differing backgrounds and ideologies together to share a common interest," Sanchez said. "Tinley Park, as well as communities across the world, benefit from an abiding love of music through the camaraderie and sense of community it can instill.”
