TINLEY PARK, IL — The village is looking for artists to submit their designs for the annual "Benches on the Avenue" art program which will be prominently displayed along Oak Park Avenue this summer.

The art installations for 2022 will be "Animal Adventure" themed, according to village officials. Submission guidelines ask artists to send in their unique, family-friendly designs that also include one component of "three-dimensional art."

The designs will be placed on benches down Oak Park Avenue from May to October of next year. In a press release, village officials said they want the installation to "take visitors on an animal exhibit without ever leaving Oak Park Avenue."
