Tinley Park Man, 24, Killed When Truck Crashes In Ravine
Witnesses said the truck veered off the road and rolled over before crashing in the ravine in Worth Township Monday night.
WORTH TOWNSHIP, IL — A 24-year-old Tinley Park man has been identified as one of three men killed when a truck rolled over and crashed in a ravine Monday night in Worth Township.
Around 10:50 p.m., Cook County Sheriff's police found a 2008 black Nissan pickup truck in a ravine near Harlem Avenue and 135th Street. Deputies found the 26-year-old male driver and a 24-year-old male passenger unresponsive in the truck. Two more occupants were ejected from the truck and found in the woods, where a 26-year-old man was also found unresponsive.
Denis Torchez, 24, of Tinley Park was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner as one of three men pronounced dead at the scene. Torchez was reportedly a passenger in the truck when witnesses said it veered off the roadway and rolled over. Another 24-year-old man was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital with serious injuries.

The identities of the two other men killed have not been released.
