Tinley Park Man Arrested In August Subway Robbery
Mark A. Sherman, 35, is accused of robbing $150 from the sandwich shop over the summer.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A 35-year-old Tinley Park man was arrested Monday in connection with a sandwich shop robbery in August, according to police. Mark A. Sherman, of the 6600 block of West 175th Street, was charged with aggravated robbery in the incident.
The incident happened at around 7:18 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Subway at 17217 S. Oak Park Ave. Sherman walked into the shop and allegedly implied he had a gun but did not display it, police said. He then allegedly took off with $150 from the eatery.
Police conducted a manhunt of the area, and the village sent out a reverse 911 alert about the search to nearby residents.
