Tinley Park Man Killed in Frankfort Motorcycle Wreck

A Tinley Park man was killed after he ran his motorcycle off a Frankfort Township road early Saturday morning.

Laurence Mirabella, 47, was thrown about 30 feet after he crashed his Harley Davidson on Benton Drive near Frankfort Square Road about 1:45 a.m.

Mirabella was taken to St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 2 a.m. He had suffered a severe head injury.

The Will County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the crash.

Mirabella, a union roofer, was married and had two sons, according to his obituary.
