Tinley Park To Mark Anniversary of 9/11 With Patriot Day Ceremony

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Village of Tinley Park will host a Patriot Day Ceremony at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 recognizing the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States.

Residents are invited to gather next to the World Trade Center beam at Fire Station No. 46, 17355 S. 68th Court, to hear remarks by Village officials and observe a moment of silence for the fallen.

Those who are unable to make it can watch a livestream of the ceremony from home on the Village’s Public Safety Facebook page.
